BALDWIN 2011-12 COMMON DRESS GUIDELINES
ALL Baldwin Spirit Wear can be
worn at any time!
No Red can be worn at any time.
Fridays are free dress days!
PANTS - Navy Blue,
Beige (Khaki), Denim (blue jeans) and Sweatpants Navy Blue, Black, and Gray
may be worn NO RED; pants must be hemmed, no cutoffs; no baggies, one
size larger only. Pants cannot be worn down on the hips; if waist is too
large, students must wear a belt. Otherwise loaner pants will be given to
wear.
SHORTS/SKORTS -
Navy Blue and Beige (Khaki) or Denim; length of hem must be no shorter than
the fingertips when arms are down at the side.
SWEATPANTS – navy
blue, black and gray.
SHIRTS: No white
T-Shirts allowed; except for Baldwin spirit wear. Shirts must be long enough
to cover the belly when the student reaches up.
POLO - White,
pink, hunter green, orange, gray, royal blue, yellow burgundy or navy blue.
NO RED. These are shirts with a collar and three small buttons at the
neck, no logo. The shirts may have stripes; the stripes may have red,
as long as the main color of the shirt is not red.
TURTLENECK SHIRT
- Same as Polo
WHITE BUTTON-UP SHIRT OR BLOUSE
– White, light blue, navy blue or grey
SWEATSHIRT – No
insignia or designs (except Baldwin School) allowed.
LEGGINGS – White or
navy
SPANDEX PANTS -
Black Biker Pants - worn under skirts only
SHOES - All colors
allowed; NO open-toed shoes / sandals, heelies or high heels.
BELTS - Black,
brown, or navy. Belts cannot hang down from the belt loops. No chains on
belts.
JACKETS - No red;
logo must in good taste, no violence
OTHER – Large chain
necklaces, large hoop earrings and false fingernails are a safety hazard
Donations of clean clothing are gratefully accepted and traded in the
Health Office.
