About Baldwin

Nestled against the foothills in South San Jose, Julia Baldwin Elementary School is one of nineteen schools in the Oak Grove School District. Baldwin celebrates thirty years of service to the children of hard-working, family-centered parents and grandparents. In the year 2000, Baldwin was recognized as a California Distinguished School for the second time.

Our mission at Baldwin School is to provide a place of discovery where students love to engage in the learning process, are not afraid to take risks, and feel successful and productive.

Our goal is to prepare students for higher education, careers, and a productive place in society. We want our children to collaborate and compete, cooperate and excel, and to value life-long learning.  In order to reach these goals, we stress a thorough and successful academic curriculum with support for students, always available.
